Future of the book
For this project about the future of the book, I 'remixed' an original version of Jules Vernes 'Around the world in 80 day'. I bought the original from 1879 and used it as a methaphor because it was all about new technology in that days. After I found the digital file of the text on projectgutenberg.org, I tried to visualise the twisted state of the printed book as it is today. Paradox: people still print digital text. The new printed version is totally 'scrollable' (like a flipbook) and has the exact size as the original book.
